Tyler Stevens is an actor, collaborator, and a dabbling musician. He is originally from Virginia, where he was honored as Richmond Theatre Critics Circle’s Most Promising Newcomer in 2016. He worked on Cadence Theatre’s production of Everybody (Somebody/Everybody), Richmond Shakes’ Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (Rosencrantz), TheatreLab’s Admissions (Charlie), VaRep’s Broadway Bound and Brighton Beach Memoirs (Eugene), and Cadence Theatre’s production of Rabbit Hole (Jason) which earned him an RTCC Award for Best Supporting Actor. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and is a current MFA Acting candidate at the University of Central Florida. He has taken advanced workshops in: stage combat through The Tourist Trap (focusing on longsword, smallsword, and rapier and dagger), the Not So Silent Art of Mime with Bill Bowers, clowning with Drew the Dramatic Fool, and stand-up with Judy Carter. He loves making people laugh and can juggle and (sort of) unicycle. Tyler is currently living in Orlando with his two beloved cats and will be performing in Orlando Shakes’ Bare Bard production of Henry IV: Part II in January. In his free time Tyler enjoys working on and riding bicycles (he has way too many in his apartment). He also enjoys cooking and baking and has recently started exploring recipes forgotten by history. He loves to share his confectionary concoctions with the people he loves. His ability to pick up a hobby is unmatched and to his wallet’s chagrin, the most recent addition to his collection of hobbies is golf.
